Snowshoe Tours

If you want an extra adventure with your fine dining experience, book into an evening we are doing the "tour also." You still get the incredible sleigh ride up the ski runs and a snowshoe tour in addition. Instead of the sleigh taking you directly to the yurt, it will stop for those who want to unload at Red Pine Lodge. From there, we will equip you for a short nighttime trek the final @ 400-500 yards to the yurt. For those who choose to snowshoe, our snowshoes strap onto your winter boots. X-C ski boots, poles and skis are provided for the skiers. The tour through the forest is approximately 15 min. If you would just rather walk up a snowcat road to the yurt it is less than a 5 minute walk. Or, if not everyone in your party wants the snowshoe tour, they can just stay seated on the sleigh while the snowshoers unload. The snowcat driver will then drive them straight up to the yurt where they can enjoy the fire, hot glogg or a glass of wine until the snowshoe group arrives. On "tour also" evenings we serve you a four course dinner instead of a five course dinner due to time issues. The cheese course is the course that is omitted. You still receive the hot glogg, soup, salad, sorbet palate cleanser, entree, and dessert but you will have had the little extra exercise before hand and worked up your appetite.

Appropriate footwear is important....no high heels or dress shoes. You will walk on snow to get to the sleigh and could be on loose snow during the tour. If anyone in your party shows up with inappropriate footwear, they can always stay on the sleigh all the way to the yurt.
