Private Event Pricing at The Viking Yurt

Price per person

$110 + tax & tip=$138

$125 + tax & tip=$157

 

On private event nights, we do not ask your guests to tip the piano player so the host/hostess covers that tip. Also, there is a $300 beverage minimum required since that is below our average of what we sell when we are open to the public. If you spend more than $300 that night, we will deduct $300 from the total beverage bill.

$110 + tax ($8.09) & tip ($19.80) = $138 x 32 people = $4416 + $100 tip for the piano player and $300 beverage minimum. Total that includes everything except a bev. bill over $300 is $4816.00

$125 + tax ($9.19) & tip ($22.50) = $157 x 32 people = $5024 + $100 tip for the piano player and $300 beverage minimum. Total that includes everything except a bev. bill over $300 is $5424.00

You may want to email the office to have us send you a beverage list for your information. Our wines vary from $30 - $90 per bottle. We also have sparkling cider, beer and cordials.

If you book more than 25 seats, we will require that you make it a private event and pay for 32 seats. Otherwise, that would not leave an entire table for our 6 other guests to sit apart from your group. If you book 25 seats or less, you will not be able to hold speeches in the yurt or change or normal routine so that the other paying guests can have a typical wonderful yurt evening.

Cancellation Policy
No refunds within 2 weeks of reservation, a $1600 cancellation fee for all other confirmed reservations. Confirmed reservations are not canceled and refunds are not given due to inclement weather. When you book a private event, a $1600 non-refundable deposit is charged to your credit card to block out an entire date at our restuarant so that the public can not book into that date.

Please be aware that once even just a party of two are booked into a date, it is unlikely that we can convince them to change their reservation date to another date. So look for availability of 32 seats or an "Open on Demand" date for your private event.
